Our team at WilsonCo has over 30 years of combined experience in Metal fabrication. Our small team consists of trade qualified Boilermakers, qualified welders and highly skilled trades assistants. With an established network of suppliers, Draftsman, NDT, painters. We are constantly learning and staying up-to-date with the latest construction techniques, technology and standards.
What makes us different for a company of our size, is our quality processes. We work inline with Australian standards AS 1554.1 welding of structural steels, AS 5131 structural steelwork- fabrication and erection. These standards are often cited in project specifications , but often overlooked. We will help Clients understand and comply with relevant documentation, avoiding problems later on.
We can help develop inspection test procedures for fabrications and consolidate quality documentation to give peace of mind;
-Material certificates, to ensure items used aren't cheap quality knockoffs to cut costs
-Weld procedures specifications, that weld processes have the strength needed for the job
-Welder qualification, to verify our welders can weld to the standards
-Weld supervisor, to ensure all joint prep and fitups are compliant with standards
-Weld inspector, to verify all welds are complete and cleaned to standard
-Fabrication inspection records, that items are made to drawings and within tolerances allowed before paint.
-Paint records, to verify blast grades, paint specs, thickness applied and dry times
-Galvanising letters of conformance.
